Earth Day
We had an exciting Earth Day! Miss Erin, one of my friends who works at Atlantic Garden Center, came to help us learn more about plants. She talked to us about what plants need, uses of the plants, and how they help the Earth. We then got to plant our own seeds that we could watch grow and give to our Mother's for Mother's Day (shh, don't tell our moms!). It was cool to learn how to plant our very own seeds. We put them in our window sill and learned how to take care of them. Thank you Miss Erin for coming in! We also had Mrs. Patterson come in to help us plant our apple seeds out in a flower box in our garden. It was a great day of planting! Thank you Mrs. Patterson for keeping our seeds frozen over the winter, so we could plant them in the spring.
