STEAM Night Project
We have been learning about plants lately, so we decided to do our STEAM project on plants. Our question was "how do plants absorb water?". Mrs. Werder came in to help us get the project started. We chose three different types of plants, lettuce, celery, and a flower. We put them all in four different colors of food coloring, blue, green, yellow, and red. We predicted which type of plant would absorb the quickest and what color would absorb the best. We voted and decided celery and red would win. It turns out that lettuce and blue were actually the winners. It was exciting to see the results!
