Our winter STEAM project had to do with the Gingerbread Man. We read The Gingerbread Man story and decided the Gingerbread man had a problem we needed to help with. If the Gingerbread Man fell into the water, then he would become a soggy cookie. Our job was to design a bridge to help the Gingerbread man get across the water safely. The kids worked in teams to create a bridge. We made the bridges out of toothpicks and marshmellows. We had a few cookies who managed to get across without become soggy. They did a great job designing their own bridges and had a lot of fun!
