Fall Centers

Fall has been a lot of fun so far, but one of the most fun and exciting days we've had was our fall centers. Parents were generous enough to donate their time and some of the supplies to make it happen. We had 4 different centers the children could rotate through. There was a center for making skeletons out of cotton swabs. There was a center for counting spider rings. We had a center were students could estimate the girth, weight, and height of a large, medium, and small pumpkin. Then, they got to measure to see if they were correct. We also had a center where the students would predict whether different objects (acron squash, spagetti squash, butternut squash, gourds, acorns, leaves, and pine cones) would sink or float. I could see the excitement as the children moved to each station. Fall centers wouldn't have been possible without our amazing parents and volunteers. Thank you for your help in making fall centers a success!
